Marketing Manager (Jersey)

Responsibilities:                                                                   

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders; including but not limited to clients, colleagues, third party suppliers and providers;
  • Implementing agreed concepts and visual imagery, ensuring the Group’s branding is consistent and cohesive throughout;
  • Sourcing cost effective advertising opportunities, whether in traditional mainstream media or social media, to positively promote the organisation using thought leadership articles and profile raising activities;
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and marketing collateral that attracts and converts our target groups;
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, and webinars;
  • Writing and proofreading copy;
  • Liaising with agencies including designers and printers;
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • Maintaining and updating internal CRM database;
  • Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
  • Sourcing appropriate sponsorship opportunities for the Group to support which enhances and supports the Groups vision and values;
  • Conducting market research, for example using client surveys;
  • Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns; producing data driven reports;
  • Liaising with other internal departments and key stakeholders;
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data;
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases;
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts and measuring return on investment;
  • Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns; and
  • Managing junior members of the team assisting with their development and performance reviews.

IT Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365);
  • Experienced user of digital marketing tools; and
  • Experienced user of CRM databases and Content Management Systems.

Professional Qualifications and Minimum Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, ideally gained within the Finance industry; and
  • Achieved or working towards a professional Marketing qualification e.g. CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing.
