The Structure
- Fairway provides governance and expertise in terms of managing the complex structure activity, allowing the client to achieve their aims of building up the assets and growing the Foundation.
- The Foundation's flexibility allows for the inclusion of various entities under its purview and the segregation of multiple charitable streams. For example, the client can have separate units for funding healthcare technology, partnerships with private hospitals and biomedical research.
- The client wanted to extend the educational objectives of their existing Foundation to their Jersey Foundation. The versatile structure of the Jersey Foundation enabled them to work with schools and set up an education funds stream. The funding will go towards tuition costs for high-achieving students from overseas to attend UK academic institutions, who would not otherwise have funding.

Fairway provides full administrative services to the structures, dealing with all relevant findings and administration matters in Jersey. We work collaboratively with the client and continue to sit on the council with him, having regular meetings such as investment strategy and future growth.

As the client has grown older, they have become increasingly aware of the growing need for elderly access to affordable healthcare. The Foundation has allowed them to further expand their healthcare endeavours, such as creating additional private partnerships, that will subsidise healthcare access for ageing persons.
Outcome 4- Specialist Research
The Foundation already dedicates funds to biomedical research. To spearhead these efforts, it has enlisted specialist doctors to research healthcare initiatives and biomedical findings for ageing. Tasked with researching healthy ageing and the prevention of ageing-related diseases, the Foundation aims to alleviate the pressure of an ageing population.

The Future
