Trust Officer named as Future Leader by Citywealth

6 Aug 2015

Chris Mourant is one of the rising stars in the private wealth industry according to the inaugural edition of Citywealth’s Future Leaders list.

The trust officer joined Fairway Group in 2012 after graduating with a degree in Financial Services from Highlands College.

He is one of five Channel Islanders to feature in the annual list, which sets out to highlight those in investment management, law, trusts and private banking sectors across the UK and the IFC’s.

Louise Bracken-Smith, MD at Fairway Group, who recommended Mr Mourant for the guide said:

“Chris is a passionate and motivated trust officer who constantly strives for Fairway’s business goal of the ‘triple win’ to ensure a positive outcome for the client, the firm and its employees.

“He excels in every aspect of his role, in particular, developing business with our clients in the Middle East and he also finds the time to mentor a number of our junior staff with their professional development.”

Marcela Kunova from Citywealth commented that although these young professionals are still in the early stages of their careers, the recommendations recognise the years of studies and hard work that has enabled them to reach this position.

“With role models like Richard Branson and Hillary Clinton, they aspire to be influential business leaders who are focused and ambitious, but who also champion philanthropy, and work-life balance.”

Fairway Group is a registered business name of Fairway Trust Limited, Fairway Fund Services Limited and Fairway Pension Trustees Limited. Regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission ("JFSC").
