A trust officer with a minimum of 3 years’ trust and company administration experience is required to support our busy trust team.
The role is to actively administer a mixed portfolio of private and corporate client structures, containing properties, investments, image rights and other asset classes, ensuring that the client’s needs are met.
Assistance in the supervision and mentoring of other fee earners on the teams whilst minimising corporate risk by ensuring compliance with procedures and legislation is also required.
Experience / Qualifications
- Level 4, formal qualification or working towards the same, other related university or tertiary qualification.
- An understanding and good technical knowledge of TCB administration, legislative, compliance and regulatory requirements as well as an awareness of tax implications of various structures.
- Awareness of compliance and regulatory obligations in financial services providers; and
- Competent knowledge of the principal laws relevant to the Jersey financial services industry and in particular the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, the Trusts (Jersey) Law 1984 and the Foundations (Jersey) Law 2009. Familiarity with equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
