This week is Wellbeing Week, a time when there will be lots of focus and activity focused on personal wellbeing.
Here at Fairway Group and our sister company Bracken Rothwell, we recognise the importance of wellbeing all year round, which is why we have developed numerous initiatives to support our team.
In terms of physical wellbeing – we recognise that bodies are fundamentally designed to move, which is why we actively encourage work life balance, have established a run club, a yoga club and offer subsidised gym and swim memberships to all staff. We offer subsidised health checks and talks from healthcare professionals but wellbeing doesn’t start and stop with the physical, wellbeing is also about mental health; more specifically about having good mental health.
Our trained Mental Health First Aiders are on hand to talk to the team if needed in addition to offering confidential counselling and mindfulness training being available for employees to access.
Put simply, we want our employees to feel good about themselves, we want them to come to work in an environment in which they feel supported and we want to ensure we are able to proactively support physical health also.
Life can be busy and stressful enough without work adding unnecessary pressures also – Fairway Group wants to be a leader in this space and continue to put a great deal of well-placed focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of our team.
Wellbeing Week runs from 24 – 30 June
