Job: Trust Officer, Fairway Group
How did you get into Basketball?
By chance really, I started playing at lunch times in secondary school and I've been playing ever since.
How much has the team been training?
We have been training twice a week as a team and I have been doing additional conditioning in between.
Predictions for the games?
We hope to progress to the semi-finals so we have a chance of achieving a medal.
What are you most looking forward to?
I am mostly looking forward to visiting Gotland and playing against some high quality teams.
What do you love about the game?
The unity of the sport. Being part of a close knit team when you win it is a great feeling. However, when your team loses everyone knows how to pick up the pieces and move on again as a unit.
How do you all work together as a team?
The majority of the team are around the same age which means we all get on really well with each other on and off the court. WIth it being such a young team it shows great promise for the future of the squad and everyone is looking forward to seeing how we can all progress together.
Sport hero and why?
I don't tend to have a sporting hero. I admire a wide range of sports and sportsman. To pick one would be tough.
