Staff to support Brig-Y-Don in 2017

12 Jan 2017

Brig-Y-Don has been nominated by staff as their chosen charity for 2017.

The children's charity first opened in 1925 as a convalescent and holiday home for children recovering from tuberculosis. Over the years, Brig-Y-Don has evolved into a charity that aims to help by improving the lives of children in residential care in Jersey, then by supporting them when they move on to live independently.

Staff at Fairway Group and sister company, Bracken Rothwell, will help support the charity by raising funds through dress down days and cake bakes. At Christmas, staff donated gifts to make up a festive hamper and in March, a team of staff have agreed to take part in a garden makeover at one of the charities residential homes.

Managing director, Louise Bracken-Smith said: "The business places a high importance on its corporate social responsibility and together, as a team, the staff and directors are keen to support local children and young adults who are less fortunate than we are."

Fairway Group is a registered business name of Fairway Trust Limited, Fairway Fund Services Limited and Fairway Pension Trustees Limited. Regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission ("JFSC").
