Louise Bracken-Smith has received a Powerwomen award for leadership at the recent Citywealth awards.
The prestigious event is held each year to highlight the female leaders of today and tomorrow.
The organisers state that globally, women hold approximately one in five senior management roles, and fewer than one in ten businesses have a female CEO; of Financial Times top 500 companies, women represent 1.8% of CEOs and hold 10% of board seats.
The awards therefore focus on promoting the value of women in leadership positions and at the recent ceremony; thirty-five women in the wealth management sector were awarded for excellence and eighteen companies were rewarded for promoting female leadership.
“I am delighted to have been recognised by Citywealth in the leadership category against such tough competition. Their efforts to champion female leaders in the wealth sector is outstanding and it is an honour to stand alongside their 2017 winners."
