Staff from Fairway Group and sister company, Bracken Rothwell have raised £1,000 for SCBU through their weekly dress down days.
The money raised will help The Baby Bean Appeal, which has been set up by the charity together with Baby Lifeline and Philips Footprint to purchase fetal monitors for the maternity unit at Jersey's General Hospital.
Gemma Harries from SCBU said the much-needed equipment helps give mothers a greater freedom of movement during labour.
She said: "The monitors are especially beneficial for those with high-risk pregnancies as they increase the chance of a normal pregnancy and a positive birthing experience."
