Leaders of industry: Jersey Business Enterprise Week

21 May 2017

I was delighted to have been invited to do a Q&A for Jersey enterprise week. Royston Guest Author of "Built to Grow" was doing a masterclass in "How to sustain and maintain business growth" for the leaders of industry. It was an honour to be there and meet such inspirational leaders that are responsible for driving Jersey businesses forward.

I am always impressed with the talent we have on the island, working with Craig Meredith from fit2function which is helping improve my  movement and Kit Chamier the professional nutritionalist who is bravely tackling my nutrition. The combination of both is setting me up for success something we are keen to apply in the Fairway Group.

It was the final duathlon organised by the Jersey tri club, 2k run 8k bike (5 laps of the track) = 4 runs and 3 bikes, the run was tough through the dunes. 4th finish for me which I was delighted with, Jo Gorrod was the first ladt with Mel Messervy closely behind, - newcomer Claire who is a track runner then me. The bike went well when working with others as it was a drafting race, however it was tricky to count the number of laps!
